From the 5th until the 25th February, we will offer our set menus with the addition of a bubbly on arrival for those who book for the Edinburgh Restaurant Festival. Strictly over 18's venue. All ERF bookings must be booked through the Events Manager. Moreover, for bookings of groups of 8 people or more:
- We require £5 deposit per person to secure the booking.
- We require pre-orders at least 10 days in advance. 
- A 10% mandatory service charge will be applied to the bill.

the patrick geddes Tipple special

An honourable nod to best Scot and Bombay Governor, Mountstuart Elphinstone. Scottish Monkey Shoulder whisky fares well alongside Indian Amrut, shaken with lemon and dashed with black pepper. A hoppy Elemental foam sits atop. The Patrick Geddes tipple will be served from 9am until 3am Monday to Saturday and from 11am until 3am on Sundays (from 25th January to 25th February 2018). This exclusive special is £9.

While Dishoom is primarily a walk-in cafe open to all, we do take reservations for groups of any size from 8am to 5:45pm. For dinner (from 6pm) we take reservations for groups of 6 or more and smaller groups are always welcome to walk in. Depending on what time you visit there may be a wait, but we will always be able to find you a table and we have the Permit Room Bar, hidden beneath the kitchen, where you can have a tipple until your table’s ready. At busy times, (7pm-9pm) there may be a wait to get to the bar.

If you would like to book a table for drinks in the Permit Room Bar we take reservations from 9pm to 1:30am every evening. Last orders are at 2:30am. Please do drop us a line at edinburghpermitroom@dishoom.com to book.

Lamb Raan Bun special 

A hearty feast for one for £12.90. Juicy, slow-cooked pulled Scottish lamb, piled up in a soft sourdough bun. Served with Dishoom Slaw, sali crisp-chips, and fried green chillies. To be eaten with hands. The Lamb Raan Bun will be served from 12pm until 11pm Sunday to Wednesday and 12pm until 12am Thursday to Saturday (from 5th to 25th February 2018).
